ABOUT SAT
The backbone of the WSET curriculum.
The Systematic Approach to Tasting is WSET's official technique for wine analysis, the backbone of the WSET curriculum from Level 1 to the Diploma. Covering SAT in the classroom requires having the right varieties, from the right regions, with the right typicity. For an approved centre in Portugal, this means coordinating with multiple importers, dealing with vintage unavailability, and producing tasting notes adjusted to each course.
We handle that. The five sommeliers of 5 Sommeliers select the wines by level and by curriculum, drawing from our partner wine-merchant network. We deliver the complete pack to your door, with ready-to-distribute SAT tasting notes and a €25 voucher for each student to use on our subscription.

FIVE REASONS
Instead of coordinating three importers.
Why an APP buys a pack from 5 Sommeliers instead of managing three to five importers per course.
Curation by the five sommeliers
Each wine in the pack is selected by a responsible sommelier, named on the card that accompanies the wine. Ensures typicity and relevance to the curriculum, not just importer availability.
Ready-to-distribute SAT-format tasting notes
Reduce 4–6 hours of preparation per course. Compatible with the official WSET manuals, without replacing them.
Optional seal on course materials
You can use the 5 Sommeliers seal on materials distributed to students, reinforcing the APP's authority.
€25 cross-voucher per student
Valid on our subscription. Additional benefit for students at no extra cost to the APP, and a B2C acquisition channel for us.
Unified logistics
One order, one invoice, one delivery. Instead of managing communication with three to five importers per course.
IMPORTANT
12
Students max
Packs are calibrated for classes up to 12 students , based on standard SAT consumption (30–50ml per student per wine).
For larger classes, order multiple packs in the same session (the curation is the same; only quantity increases). No partial supplements — simpler for everyone.
